Phantom Flex Shoots at Super-Slo 2,564 FPS, 'Words With Friends' on Android

Here are a few of the other noteworthy things we saw today on our never-ending journey through the wild, wild Web.

Read:

The TV Guide
One unavoidable consequence of writing for the Web is that you get led around by television's most rabid fan bases. The A.V. Club's recaps of Terriers, which was cancelled after one season due to low ratings, reliably generated scores more comments than reviews of The Good Wife-a show with a larger but less-engaged audience. And given that episode reviews are mostly of interest to hardcore fans, honey-soaked praise attracts more readers than vinegar-y condemnation. Blog readers, Sepinwall says, "want you to be a cheerleader for what they're a cheerleader for."

Who is Bearing Witness to the Revolution?
Mr. Wiesel fears that, even as the technology makes it harder not to know, it chips away at the duty, after knowing, of understanding: of asking why, making sense of things, judging, empathizing - and of committing the tragic events to a deeper kind of memory.
